GE announces direct online service support

GE Medical Systems of Waukesha, WI, has unveiled Direct Services, a new Internet-based program to support hospital equipment service. The feature, which will launch in mid-July, will offer healthcare providers a single, Internet-based venue to search for and purchase parts online, regardless of manufacturer. Users of Direct Services will also be able to obtain product documentation and receive training online. Other features will be added later this year.
