Medtronic has received Europe's CE Mark for its Bridge X3 renal stent system. Bridge X3, which is now available in major markets outside the U.S., is indicated for the treatment of atherosclerotic disease in the renal arteries. It incorporates a number of features designed to meet the challenges of placing a stent and ensuring it stays in place, according to the Minneapolis-based firm. The system includes a low crossing profile and high radial strength, among other features.
