Siemens-SMS merger gets German OK

Siemens Medical Engineering and Shared Medical Systems have announced that the German Federal Cartel Office (FCO) has cleared the German vendor’s planned acquisition of SMS, of Malvern, PA. The FCO had been investigating the merger for potential antitrust ramifications.
