Toshiba America Medical Systems has announced the establishment of direct sales and service operations covering six states in the New England region of the U.S. Previously, Toshiba sales in the area have been handled by medical imaging product distributor X-ray Inc. (X.R.I.).
Toshiba made the move to build on its success with direct sales in other U.S. regions, and to add more luminary sites to its installed base, the Tustin, CA-based vendor said. Toshiba and X.R.I. will continue to support each other during the transition period, according to the firm.
