GE Medical Systems has released Direct Services, an Internet-based program designed to support hospital equipment service initiatives. Direct Services gives healthcare providers and third-party service companies a single, Internet-based venue to locate and purchase GE and non-GE parts, as well as tubes and probes, GE said.
Customers can also view service documentation and access training information online, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor. Other features will be introduced later this year, according to GE. Customers can view a free demonstration of the program at www.mydirectservices.com/ds.
