GE Medical Systems Information Technologies has expanded its distribution agreement with cardiac imaging firm CardioDynamics of San Diego. Waukesha, WI-based GE will gain rights to market and distribute CardioDynamics’ BioZ.com impedance cardiography monitor to hospitals and physician offices through GE Marquette Medical Systems-Japan.
GE currently holds rights to market and sell BioZ systems to hospitals in the U.S. and select international markets. In addition to the distribution agreements, the vendors are jointly developing and integrating CardioDynamics’ BioZ impedance cardiography technology into GE’s Solar patient monitoring systems. BioZ.com is available in over 70 international markets, according to the firms.
