Elekta to bundle Marconi CT simulator

Multimodality imaging vendor Marconi Medical Systems of Cleveland, and radiation therapy firm Elekta of Stockholm, Sweden, have finalized a deal that enables Elekta to bundle Marconi’s AcQsim CT simulator with its products.

The companies have integrated their systems using the DICOM RT protocol so that AcQsim can send images, anatomical volumes, and beams to Elekta’s PrecisePlan treatment planning system.
