Web-based medical equipment purchasing firm Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) has announced that it has completed live online transactions between hospital and supplier member pilot sites. Implementation is underway at additional sites, and GHX is on track for its first production release in the first quarter of 2001, according to Bruce Johnson, vice president of marketing at the Westminster, CO-based company. Over 50 suppliers are participating in the GHX, according to the firm.
