Marconi Medical Systems’ Health Care Products division continues to expand its online distribution opportunities. The division signed a two-year contract with medibuy.com, making the Cleveland-based vendor’s imaging supplies available through medibuy.com's online marketplace.
Under the agreement, medibuy.com will provide the resources needed to integrate or link its system with Marconi HCP's system. Marconi HCP will provide the product-specific content that will appear in the San Diego-based company’s catalog.
Medibuy.com’s distributed catalog technology will electronically link with Marconi’s databases, ensuring real-time product availability and pre-negotiated pricing, according to Marconi.
The agreement coincides with another online distribution deal Marconi HCP recently signed with Neoforma.com.
