Dear AuntMinnie Member,
The Canadian radiologist at the center of a controversy over his interpretation of more than 70,000 imaging exams tells his side of the story this week in an article we're featuring in our Imaging Center Digital Community.
In an interview with associate editor Kate Madden Yee, Dr. Darius Tsatsi describes his dispute with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, which claims to have found enough irregularities in cases read by Tsatsi to prompt the society to order a review of every one of his reports.
Tsatsi, however, claims that he's being treated unfairly and has complied with all of the college's efforts to assess his competence. Read his story -- and decide for yourself -- by clicking here, or visit the Imaging Center Digital Community at centers.auntminnie.com.
Now taking Minnies nominations
Do you have a favorite imaging product or software application that you think deserves recognition? Do your colleagues deserve special attention for their efforts in radiology research or education? Then nominate them for a Minnies award!
The Minnies are AuntMinnie.com's annual event recognizing excellence in radiology. Every year, we take suggestions from our members for candidates in each of 13 categories, ranging from Most Influential Radiology Researcher to Best New Radiology Vendor. Then, our expert committee selects finalists in two rounds of voting, with awards presented to the winners at this year's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
Your participation in the nominations phase is crucial to ensuring that the Minnies are an accurate reflection of radiology. To get started just click here, or go to minnies.auntminnie.com. To see the winners of last year's Minnies awards, click here.
