Attendance at last week's RSNA conference edged up slightly compared to the 2006 meeting, according to figures released by the Oak Brook, IL, society.
A total of 61,980 people attended the 2007 meeting, according to the RSNA's unaudited numbers, representing growth of 1% compared to the 61,294 attendees recorded on an unaudited basis for 2006. On an audited basis, the RSNA reported 61,976 attendees in 2006; audited figures for 2007 are not yet available.
The society reported that 27,846 professional registrants attended the meeting, up 3% compared with the 27,138 professional attendees reported for the 2006 meeting on an unaudited basis. The number of exhibitor attendees in 2007 stood at 28,054, essentially unchanged from the reported 28,044 exhibitor attendees in 2006.
The number of guest registrants for the most recent RSNA show stood at 6,080, down 1% compared with 6,112 guest registrants at the 2006 meeting.
