Members of the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) of Leesburg, VA, have voted to approve a merger with the American College of Radiology (ACR) of Reston, VA, the two organizations said.
The integration will become effective July 1. Both the ARRS and the ACR expect it to strengthen the programs and services available to radiologists. The new organization will be headquartered in Reston with offices in Leesburg; Washington, DC; and Philadelphia. Each will keep its current membership, while also evaluating joint membership opportunities.
