The Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA) has announced a new director of regulatory and markets strategy.
Felicia Lo will lead MITA's efforts to identify opportunities for performance, quality, and safety standards, while also promoting current standards among a variety of stakeholders, including regulators, industry, and standards development organizations. She will also work with international regulatory bodies, such as the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF), to promote adoption of standards issued by MITA and its parent, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).
Prior to joining MITA, Lo served as the IT reform project manager to the U.S. Department of Energy for government IT contractor Energy Enterprise Solutions. She also previously worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Lo also has an extensive modeling and simulation background, serving eight years with Alion Science and Technology, MITA said.
