The Medical Imaging and Technology Alliance (MITA) has elected Joe Robinson as vice chair of its board of directors, effective immediately.
Robinson will assume the role of chair of the board next January. He is currently senior vice president of health systems solutions at Philips Healthcare, and he also serves as a member of the MITA board, the organization said.
Robinson has spent the past 30 years working in medical systems across large healthcare companies. Before assuming his current role at Philips, he was senior vice president of sales and marketing imaging systems for North America at the company. Robinson co-authored a book in 2008 titled Radiology Business Practice: How to Succeed.
