The editorial board at the Journal of the American College of Radiology has named its top four peer-reviewed articles of 2016.
The papers were chosen by the journal's editorial board and reflect the publication's four major areas of interest: health services research and policy, clinical practice management, leadership, and training and education, said Dr. Bruce Hillman, JACR's founding editor in chief.
The four articles are as follows:
- "Alternative payment models in radiology: The legislative and regulatory roadmap for reform," by Silva et al
- "In-person communication between radiologists and acute care surgeons leads to significant alterations in surgical decision-making," by Dickerson et al
- "Direct interactive public education by breast radiologists about screening mammography: Impact on anxiety and empowerment," by Lee et al
- "Strategic expansion models in academic radiology," by Natesan et al
