The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) inducted 34 new fellows at its annual scientific meeting, held March 17-22 in Los Angeles.
Fewer than 10% of SIR members become fellows, and the honor is given to those who have demonstrated excellence in interventional radiology by virtue of research and published works, teaching, and leadership within the field, along with contributions and involvement within the society.
The fellows hail from all across the U.S., as well as Argentina, Canada, Portugal, Singapore, and the U.K.
