Physician recruitment firm LocumTenens.com is predicting a possible shortage of 8% to 16% in the number of U.S. radiologists by 2020.
The Alpharetta, GA-based firm reached its conclusions based on a supply-and-demand forecast for radiologists over the next 10 years, taking into account the arrival of 32 million newly insured people.
