Agfa has appointed Robert Pryor as president, medical imaging North America, replacing Ernest Waaser following his resignation last month. Pryor will direct the activities of Agfa’s medical imaging businesses in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.
Before his promotion, Pryor served as vice president, North American sales, since early 1999, when he joined Agfa following its acquisition of Sterling Diagnostic Imaging. At Sterling, Pryor was a member of the global executive management committee, and was also senior vice president, Americas, for sales and service.
In related executive moves, Agfa has named company veteran Thomas Boon as vice president sales and service, North America. In this newly created role, Boon will have overall responsibility for customer satisfaction, and will manage all customer-facing functions in the Agfa organization, including sales, service, OEM, and dealer channel organizations, according to Ridgefield Park, NJ-based Agfa.
