Dr. Robert Grossman has been named chairman of the department of radiology at the New York University School of Medicine in New York City. He also will serve as the director of radiology at the NYU Hospitals Center and will hold the Lewis Marx Professorship.
Grossman comes to NYU from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he was chief of neuroradiology and associate chairman of radiology. Grossman’s main area of study is multiple sclerosis. His latest work on MRI contrast enhancement patterns of MS patients appears in the April 2001 issue of the American Journal of Neuoradiology.
