Dr. Larry Norton will begin his one-year term as president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) at the organization’s annual meeting in San Francisco next week. Norton is the head of the solid tumor division at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City. He also is the director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Center and the Iris Cantor Diagnostic Center.
Norton currently serves as the president of the board of directors of the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations.
