Dr. Robert Stanley has been named president of the American Roentgen Ray Society. He will serve a one-year term. Stanley is chairman of the department of radiology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Dr. Reed Dunnick, chairman of the department of radiology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, has been appointed president-elect.
Other 2001-2002 appointees are Dr. James Thrall from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston as vice president, and Dr. Anton Hasso from the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in Orange as treasurer. Dr. Bruce McClennan from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT will serve another term as secretary, according to the Leesburg, VA-based ARRS.
