Toshiba America Medical Systems has hired imaging industry veteran Edwin Lodgek as senior vice president and general manager. Lodgek comes to the Tustin, CA-based vendor from Marconi Medical Systems, where he served as vice president, North America.

As general manager, Lodgek will lead Toshiba's full-line sales, marketing, and service teams, as well as its ultrasound business unit. He will focus on helping Toshiba strengthen its U.S. market presence, according to Toshiba.
