Toshiba America Medical Systems has appointed imaging industry veteran Karen Barack-LaPoint as senior director of business operations. In her new position, she will manage operations, sales support, sales training, and sales-force automation, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. LaPoint has held positions with Marconi Medical Systems and GE Medical Systems during her 15-year imaging career, Toshiba said.
