The Japanese unit of GE Medical Systems has a new chief executive after its previous head, Nobuhiko Ito, was tapped to lead the GE Edison Life division of the Waukesha, WI-based multinational conglomerate.
Replacing Ito at GE Yokogawa Medical Systems is Hiroyuki Mitani, who comes to the division from a previous post as president and general manager of GE Aircraft Engines Northern Pacific Company. Mitani’s title at GE YMS is president and COO.
