Dan Kerpelman is stepping down from the top position at Eastman Kodak's Health Group, and will be replaced as president by Kevin Hobert, the Rochester, NY, company announced today.
Kerpelman served as president of the Health Group for almost three years after joining Kodak from multimodality vendor GE Healthcare of Waukesha, WI. He is leaving to become CEO of a publicly traded global services company headquartered in Europe. A Kodak spokesperson said that Kerpelman had not yet disclosed the name of the new firm, but that an announcement is expected in the next several days.
Hobert is also a GE veteran who joined Kodak in 2002. His previous position at Kodak was general manager of the company's digital capture systems division, where he helped Kodak achieve the number two spot in the worldwide computed radiography market. He will report to Antonio Perez, Kodak's president and COO.
