MDS hires Hawkins as chief science and technology officer

Canadian healthcare firm MDS of Toronto reported that Trevor Hawkins, Ph.D., will join the company in the newly created position of chief science and technology officer on May 2.

Hawkins most recently served as president of the molecular diagnostics business unit at GE Healthcare. He will report to John Rogers, president and CEO of MDS.
