Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has named a new president for the Stamford, CT, business.
Makoto Kawaguchi takes over from Takushi Nasu, who had been Fuji's president since October 1997. Nasu is returning to Tokyo to take on a new position as general manager of the company's international planning and administration division.
Kawaguchi will oversee all U.S. sales and service for Fuji’s medical imaging, life science, and nondestructive testing products, as well as all global marketing and R&D efforts for Fuji's medical information technology products.
