Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, said it has put in place a founding board of directors to oversee the company's business strategy.
Carestream Health became a standalone entity in May, when Onex Corporation of Toronto acquired Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group in a $2.35 billion transaction.
Three of the six board of directors are from outside the company. Robert Le Blanc, managing director of Onex Corporation, will serve as board chairman. Other board members are Robert Haft, chairman of MainStreet Lender, a direct national commercial lender; Kevin Hobert, CEO of Carestream Health; James Kelly, private investor; Michael Pomeroy, CFO of Carestream Health; and Dr. Eliot Siegel, professor and vice chair at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Diagnostic Radiology.
