GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has named Liz Blackwood as senior vice president of global quality assurance.
Blackwood most recently served as worldwide vice president of quality, regulatory, and medical affairs at Johnson & Johnson's LifeScan division, headquartered in Milpitas, CA. Prior to that post, she was worldwide vice president of quality and compliance for Johnson & Johnson's Cincinnati-based Ethicon Endosurgery division.
Blackwood will oversee GE's Quality Management System (QMS) and will work with GE's Regulatory Affairs unit to integrate and monitor regulatory requirements into business practices.
