The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) of Albuquerque, NM, has named Donna Thaler Long as its new speaker and Sandra Hayden as vice speaker of its House of Delegates for the 2009/2010 year.
Long is the radiography program director of the health science education department at Ball State University/Clarian Health-Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She previously served as the ASRT vice speaker during the 2008/2009 and 2007/2008 terms.
Hayden serves as the administrative director of radiation therapy services at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston.
Long and Hayden were named to the posts at the ASRT annual Governance and House of Delegates meeting, held June 13-15 in Albuquerque.
