Risher steps down as Del CEO

Radiography vendor Del Global Technologies of Roselle, IL, said that CEO James Risher has stepped down and been replaced by John Quicke as interim CEO.

Risher, who will remain a director of the company, had been named interim CEO in July 2006 and was appointed CEO in September 2006.

Quicke has served as a managing director of Steel Partners of New York City since December 2007 and as an operating partner at Steel Partners since September 2005. Steel Partners is the largest shareholder of Del Global Technologies.

Prior to Steel Partners, Quicke served as a director, president, and chief operating officer at Sequa, a New York City-based diversified industrial company, from 1993 to March 2004 and as vice chairman and executive officer from March 2004 to March 2005.
