The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) will award life member status to Michael Ward, PhD, at its upcoming annual governance and house of delegates meeting in Albuquerque, NM, in June.
Ward is the associate dean for student programs and a professor at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis. He served as ASRT president for 1999 and 2000, and he was also the first American elected president of the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) in 2010.
ASRT will also bestow the status of fellow on five members: Cynthia Daniels, Bernadette Garofola, Daniel Gonzales, Rebecca Ludwig, PhD, and Mary St. Peter.
