Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY, and Analogic of Peabody, MA, today officially announced an agreement between the firms to develop flat-panel digital x-ray technology.
The announcement is a follow-up to this month’s RSNA meeting, when Kodak introduced three works-in-progress flat-panel digital x-ray systems developed with Analogic technology. Analogic’s Anrad subsidiary is developing flat-panel detectors based on amorphous selenium, which will be integrated into the Kodak systems.
