Kodak launches technology tips feature

Eastman Kodak has launched "Tech Tips," a new biweekly Web feature designed to help mammographic and radiologic technologists enhance image quality and maintain optimum performance, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.

Tech Tips topics will cover the entire imaging chain, including chemistry processing, chemistry mixing, developer, fixer, oxidation, and replenishment rates. QC testing and troubleshooting related to artifacts, film storage, darkroom tips, and image details such as view box and image tone will also be covered, according to Kodak.

The first element in the Tech Tips series discusses the usage and features of starter solution, and was posted on the Kodak Web site at the end of September.
