The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) said it will donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief efforts in central Oklahoma following tornadoes there on May 19 and 20.
Nearly 600 ASRT members live in the five Oklahoma counties that have been declared disaster areas by the federal government, according to ASRT. The organization also plans to make a separate donation to the Red Cross to match contributions collected by its 120 employees.
