Toshiba America Medical Systems and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation have launched the Safety First grant program.
Toshiba will provide grants to help ASRT member institutions fund programs to improve safety for radiologic technologists.
The Safety First program will award two ASRT members a grant of up to $7,000 each for a radiologic technology safety program or creative idea to improve technologist safety. The facilities will then implement the program and share best practices with other facilities.
The deadline to apply is September 1. The ASRT Foundation will announce the grant recipients in October.
