The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) said it will donate $10,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with disaster relief efforts in Texas in response to Tropical Storm Harvey.
The ASRT said it's also working with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists to determine how many radiologic technologists are affected by the hurricane. The organization will work hard to provide as much support as possible to affected technologists, said ASRT CEO and Executive Director Sal Martino in a statement.
