The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has appointed four officers to its 2018-2019 board of directors.
Current Vice President Stephanie Johnston has been named 2018-2019 president-elect. Johnston, who is also director of the Breast Center of Texoma in Wichita Falls, TX, will serve one term as president-elect, followed by one term as president and one term as chairman, according to the ASRT.
Replacing Johnston as vice president will be Mike Odgren, an advanced practice radiographer at Diversified Radiology of Colorado in Lakewood. He also currently serves as chairman of the ASRT Commission.
Daniel Gonzales, radiology manager at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, NM, and former vice speaker of the ASRT House of Delegates, will serve as the new treasurer. The ASRT has also named Kristi Moore, PhD, as the new secretary. Moore is the radiologic science department chair at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
The single-year term will commence immediately following the upcoming 2018 ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates meeting in Las Vegas, the ASRT said. In addition to these positions, voters selected 29 members to serve as new chapter delegates in the ASRT House of Delegates.
