The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has elected four new officers to serve one-year terms on its 2019-2020 board of directors, following the upcoming ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Orlando, FL.
Mike Odgren, acting ASRT vice president, was named president-elect. Odgren is an advanced practice radiographer at Diversified Radiology of Colorado in Lakewood. He previously served as chairman of the ASRT Commission.
Replacing Odgren as vice president will be Kristi Moore, PhD, who is a department chair and program director at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She is the current secretary of the ASRT Board of Directors.
The new secretary will be Meredith Gammons, a clinical radiology educator at Novant Health in Winston-Salem, NC. The new treasurer will be Heather Moore, PhD, from the University of Cincinnati.
In addition, ASRT President-Elect Stephanie Johnston will assume the role of president, and President Melissa Jackowski will become the next chairman of the board.
