The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has established a scholarship program in honor of Sal Martino, who is retiring after serving as ASRT chief executive officer for 13 years.

Martino will retire on January 3, 2023. The scholarship was announced at a luncheon for Martino at the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting held June 22-25 in Reno, NV.
Joy Renner, Dr. Jordan Renner, and ASRT Foundation Chief Executive Officer Steve Hardy donated $25,000 initially to establish the endowed scholarship. ASRT members were asked to match that initial gift during Martino's retirement luncheon, and they contributed more than $10,000.
