Dr. Harvey Neiman has been appointed executive director of the American College of Radiology. He will take over from director John Curry, who is retiring, in January 2003.
Neiman currently serves as the chairman of the board of chancellors for the Reston, VA-based organization. He also is the chairman of the department of radiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Bloomfield, and is a clinical professor of diagnostic radiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Curry will retire to a position on the ACR board of chancellors. He has been with the college for 27 years and became executive director in 1984.
