The American College of Radiology (ACR) said that its Valerie P. Jackson Education Fellowship is open again for applications.
The one-week fellowship allows radiology professionals to gain exposure to the operation of the ACR Education Department, according to the ACR. The fellowship aims to acquaint fellows with development processes for a range of lifelong learning activities for residents and practitioners, including compliance with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) accreditation processes, and to enable fellows to produce or advance their proposed educational product or activity, the ACR said.
Fellows are required to complete a project or activity pertaining to the delivery of educational materials and lifelong learning in radiology. The fellowship is open to radiology or radiation oncology residents, fellows, practicing radiologists, radiation oncologists, or medical physicists, or for educators with a specific interest in the field of radiology, radiation oncology, or medical physics.
