The American College of Radiology's (ACR) Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) summit in August will focus on leadership in the healthcare environment.
The summit will be held August 7 to 10 at Babson College in Wellesley, MA. It will include six sessions on the following topics:
- Strategic adaptation for medical imaging
- Big data and analytics
- Social media
- Medical versus business innovation
- Business models and financial logic
- How to identify and fix problems facing radiology practices
Radiology faculty will include Dr. Alexander Norbash of Boston University; Dr. Frank Lexa of the Wharton School and Drexel University College of Medicine, both in Philadelphia; and Dr. David C. Levin of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
The summit will offer a total of 21 RLI credits and 21 American Medical Association (AMA) Physician's Recognition Award (PRA) category 1 credits, ACR said.
