ACR to launch PQI project

The American College of Radiology (ACR) plans to initiate a project that will allow radiologists to earn American Board of Radiology Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit by using the college's value-based radiology Practice Quality Improvement (PQI) tools and resources.

Users will receive a step-by-step guide to carry out a relevant PQI project, information on how to engage referring physicians, and a free, standalone version of the ACR Select decision-support system customized for the PQI project.

ACR plans to officially launch the PQI project at its new annual meeting, ACR 2015, which will be held May 17-21 in Washington, DC.
