Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems has launched a new vascular training model for its ThinkRadial education program.
The ThinkRadial Vascular Training Model gives cardiologists and radiologists the opportunity to virtually practice introducing guide wires, diagnostic catheters, guide catheters, and interventional devices into the vascular system from several access points. It offers users the opportunity to "see" the way these devices perform inside the body, Merit Medical said.
ThinkRadial provides training, clinical field assistance, patient resources, and promotional opportunities for physicians seeking to begin or advance their transradial practice, the company said.
