The American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR) has launched the Anne G. Osborn ASNR International Outreach Professor Program.
The new program was launched with the goal of creating enduring and sustainable support to bring high-quality neuroradiology education to developing areas of the world. It builds on the society's outreach professor program that was launched in 2015 to recruit and coordinate the travel of ASNR Senior Members to teach around the world, according to the society.
Dr. Anne Osborn will donate $100,000 to start a fundraising campaign by the Foundation of the ASNR, which hopes to achieve a $500,000 fund that can sustain the program. Osborn has also expressed intent to fund the program beyond the current level, the society said. More information is available on the ASNR's website.
