AI is improving the quality and speed of radiological reporting for a teleradiology network in Germany and Austria, according to this scientific paper.

In his talk, Torsten Möller, MD, CEO of teleradiology services provider Reif & Möller will present data from a study of over 3,000 cranial CT scans acquired from CT departments of 140 hospitals in Germany and Austria between March and April 2022.

Of the 199 cases of intracranial hemorrhage found in the study, 10 were only detected by AI.

“Our study provides evidence that, at least in the field of teleradiology, AI is already a valuable tool, particularly with regard to improving quality and speed,” Möller wrote.

You can hear all about the benefits of AI for teleradiology by attending this presentation.
