Video-capsule manufacturer Given Imaging of Yoqneam, Israel, said it has received reimbursement approval from Australia’s Medical Services Advisory Committee for the use of its M2A capsule endoscope. The product is approved for use in cases of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding in patients following previous colonoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy without identifying the bleeding source.
