The U.S. military has purchased an additional 26 Orex Computed Radiography PcCR 1417 CR units from distributor SourceOne Healthcare Technologies, on top of the more than 50 units it purchased last month. The military has bought the units in conjunction with its increased military buildup in the Middle East and the Army’s potential need to accelerate battlefield diagnoses. The purchase totaled $2.5 million, according to Orex of Yokneam, Israel, and SourceOne of Cleveland.
