Del Medical Systems Group has introduced an integrated digital x-ray system targeted at general radiography applications. The system combines Del's patient-positioning system with an InfiMed StingRay image acquisition and storage system, and a Trixell Pixium 4600 digital flat-panel detector.
Franklin, Park, IL-based Del said it plans to expand its current selection of two DR products to include a wider range of low-cost offerings. The firm recently integrated a DR flat-panel sensor from Canon Medical Systems into a Del x-ray system for the Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, NC.
